This is the primary tobacco I use for any of my RYO mixes. Not very strong, high tar, one of a kind smell, low stems/sticks, and a good cut. The moisture level is always right, and the flavor won't overpower other flavors or tobaccos. If you're looking for a starting point for a custom mix to match your smoking preferences, this is what I'd start with, it's even very good by itsself.

I've ordered OHM silver for a couple years and it is consistently good tobacco. Not strong ...but not too weak either. It is not the only thing i smoke. I sometimes mix it with blends that are too strong. I recently started ordering multiples of the 5 lb bags to get free shipping. Teds' is sometimes out of stock but it seems like only a few days until they get it in again. Just order a couple weeks before you need it if you can plan that far ahead. They have on occasion sent me one lb bags when 5 lb bags are out of stock which is perfectly acceptable. I like the way Ted Tobacco does business. Thanks!
