OHM Tobacco 16-oz Turkish Red

I ordered a 16 oz bag and they sent me three 8oz bags! I suppose they were out of the 16oz, but they went above and generously sent more! Who does stuff like that anymore? We purchased a 16oz bag from the only tobacco store anywhere near us and it was dried out, tons of sticks and it wasn’t even near the “best by” date! When we receive our order and cranked out a few cigs, OMG it was immediately apparent that there was no comparison! Ted’s Tobacco was fresh and exactly what I hoped it would be! So, BIG THANKS Ted Tobacco, you rock ????

My local smoke shop was having trouble getting these bags of tobacco. Even with shipping, these were a bit cheaper, so I ordered 10. All of the expiration dates are well over a year away. I will certainly be purchasing again, and recommending them to others

Turning out to my favorite tobacco

I rate based on the quality of the tobacco (i.e. stems/stalks contained), the cut of the tobacco which has a great impact on the ease of rolling cigarettes, and of course the taste/aftertaste. Scale of 0 to 5. Simple formula: (quality of tobacco+cut of tobacco+(taste*2)/4. My opinion of the OHM Turkish Red is: Quality: 4.0 - This has what I would consider an average amount of stems. Cut: 4.0 - wide shredded tobacco, not bad but more narrow would give a more uniform injection. Taste: 4.25 - The taste is excellent. The smoke feels almost creamy which gives a really nice feel. It is mellow as Turkish tends to be. Final rating: 4.125 Wonderful tobacco. I don't think that I could smoke it all the time, but purchasing a smaller quantity and having a pack here and there is a great idea.
